It looks like a little thick not as thick as moisturiser and a yellowish in colour and the bottle is made up of plastic where all the details like ingredients, directions, manufacture and marketing details are written. It has also mentioned there that it is fragrance free, silicone free, Paraben free, essential oils free.

Let me ask you one question what you see in someone when you meet in person? Okay then, so for me it is if he or she is put together or not and smelling good or not and the most important personality. Smelling good is a part of our regular good hygiene manner which needs to be maintained by everyone in every age. And I can understand the pain of smelling good by spending a huge chunk of money is not everyone’s cup of tea. So, after doing a hell lot of research finally I found four affordable pocket friendly dupes of some Luxury High End perfumes and all of them are from one of my favorite brand ZARA. I will discuss all the details and pros and cons of all the fragrance with the longevity, price, the availability of travel pack and the buying links and I will be sharing some of my tips to increase the longevity of the fragrance. Okay so let’s begin

1. Zara Gardenia:

So, back in 2017 this Zara perfume launched and one of my close relative bought me the YSL Black Opium perfume from London and I absolutely loved that but it costed like 6000 bucks in Indian money for just 90ml which is out of my budget and after few months when I visited the Zara store that time I found the Zara Gardenia. Smell is same as the YSL perfume, but price is very cheap ₹1290 for 100ml compared to the High-End version of it. The smell feels like mixed of many flowers and peachy smell and a light mixed fruit and it is very mild. I have migraine issue, so I must be very careful while choosing the fragrance and it doesn’t give me any headache. This is my most favorite fragrance among all because my Mom was a big fan of it and she used it a lot and currently I am about to finish my 3rd bottle of it.

Pros:

a. longevity is up to 7-8 hours
b. smells like fresh flower
c. Very light smell and dosen’t stain on anything like cloths or skin etc.. d.Packaging is very classy glass bottle and the brand name and fragrance name is written on it and a travel pack is also available for ₹390 for 10ml.
e.Budget friendly and Easily available both Zara online and Zara store.

Cons:

I can’t find any cons except the ingredients are not listed for this.

2. Zara Orchid:

Orchid launched in 2016 and I still remember I bought it 28th October 2016 because one of the sales executives of Zara told me that it is the dupe of Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Bloom which costed at that time 4500 Indian bucks for 100ml and Orchid costed only ₹1290 for 100ml. And it is appropriate for a mild summery fragrance and after spraying it automatically you will feel fresh.

Pros:

a. Doesn’t give any headache.
b. Very mild and dosen’t stain.
c. Budget Friendly and Easily available both online and store

Cons:

a. The fragrance stays only for 4-5 hours which is not expected from a brand like Zara.
b. Ingredients are not listed

3. Zara Red Vanilla:

First, I want to say the dupe and the price of the dupe then anything else. The exact dupe of this perfume is la Vie Est Belle which can be costed minimum of ₹11200 for the original one and this Red Vanilla costed only ₹990 for 100ml which is insane. Fragrance is fruity mixture of vanilla, pear and black current. Very light smell and fresh. I have used the Lancôme la Vie Est Belle, one of my friends gifted me the small bottle of it from Milan recently and the smell is 100% same as the drugstore one.

Pros:

a. exact dupe and the smell is amazing
b. Mild perfume and dosen’t stain.
c. Budget friendly
d. Easily available both online and store
e. Fragrance stays up to 7-8 hours

Cons:

a. Only Big bottle is available
b. Ingredients are not listed
c. Not travel friendly.

4. Zara Nude Bouquet:

My aunt gifted me this on my 20th birthday and I love that smell because this is the Dupe of Dior’s Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I have purchased the Dior perfume from an online site which costed me like $69 for 101ml and the shipping duty charges are extra because as off now Dior website is not available for India but this Nude Bouquet is for ₹1490 for 100ml. The Zara Nude Bouquet is exactly same dupe as the Miss Dior and stays for a very long time and the smell is like heaven like floral rosy summery jasmine vibe. Smell is mild very light and stays for good 7-8 hours.

Pros:

a. Fragrance stays up to good 7-8 hours.
b. Very Mild and dosen’t stain.
c. Budget Friendly and available both in Zara store and Zara online.

Cons:

Now it the time to share the Tips and tricks that I use to increase the longevity of the fragrances:
a. Always use Vaseline or moisturizer before applying perfume on neck. As oil helps to retain the fragrance for a long time.
b. Don’t rub after application.
c. Always apply the fragrance on both the wrist, neck and underarms.
d. Don’t keep it in wet place as it will break the bond of the molecule.
e. Don’t shake the bottle.These are the perfumes and the hacks which I follow in regular basis.

‘Less is More‘ you heard it right and when it comes to skincare specially in summer it is always necessary to use the right kind of product in right amount otherwise you will end up looking petrol pump the greasy, oily one. Just like your wardrobe you need to swap your skin care routine as well.

As I am more prone to acne and I have extremely oily skin, extra even extra extra careful while choosing my skin care product and while using it I need to make sure that I am using the right amount of it. For oily skin people summer becomes more challenging. So, here I will be giving you some tips and suggesting you some of the products which I use on a daily basis to take care of my oily and acne prone skin.

Okay so let’s talk about the skin care procedure and product –

a. For cleansing I use the Simple Gel Face wash which is very mild and will not foam and it is fragrance free which I like the most about Simple products. It has some smoothing ingredients like Bisabdol, Chamomile and along with it Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E, some leaf extract like aloe vera which acts as skin conditioner and helps to calm the skin.

b. After cleansing toning is must it helps to shrink the pores which will shut the door for oil and sebum, maintain the pH balance, it adds a layer of protection and if you will use a mist it will be refreshing as well. For toning I use Plum Green Tea Alcohol free Toner. It is specifically made for oily acne prone skin and Plum is a vegan skin care brand which is amazing. It has Green Tea which acts as natural astringents helps to tighten pores, it has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-oxidants properties which helps to detoxify skin. Glycolic acid maintain the pH balance and glycerine makes the skin softer.

c. As I am blessed with oily skin 😅 so I directly jump into moisturizer but if you have dry skin then you can use some facial serum or immulsion in between. Moisturizer protects skin from pollution, it hydrates the skin and add an extra layer. I always use hydrating, light weight, and gel based moisturizer if you have dry skin you can use cream based moisturizer as well. I use the Ponds Super-light Gel Oil free Moisturizer and sometimes I use the Cliniq Moisture surge 72-Hours Auto Replenishing Hydrator.Both of them perform the same appropriate for oily skin, skin will absorb both of them instantly, both are non-sticky and ideal for all the time.

The Cliniq Moisture surge retails for ₹2700 now but when I bought last time it was of ₹2550 for 50ml and the best part is there are minis also and a bigger tub is also available and you can bought it from Sephora and online. I particularly keep my Moisture Surge i fridge for cooling effect.

d. Sunscreen is must. No matter your skin is dry or oily or you are not stepping out please apply sunscreen with a good SPF. I use light weight Sunscreen as a form of Mist or sometimes as a spray. Sunscreen helps to keep the complexion even, helps to protect the skin from signs of aging, reduce the chances of skin cancer.

I use the Amway Attitude Sunscreen with SPF 30 and PA++ .

As a alternative I use my Neutrogena Sunscreen which I have mentioned in my Winter Skin Care Blog as well.

Now it’s time for some tips which I generally apply in day-to-day basis and it really helps me from skin tanning and all-

a. I use a tan clearing mask atleast once a week. I use the O3+ De-tan Mask all over my body and face wait for 5-7 mints then wash it off. After 5-6 use you will see the difference.

b. Try to use a Mist for hydration. I use the Kama Ayurveda Rose Water. If I feel my skin is burning I just spray it on my face and it gives me instant relief.

c. Try to reapply sunscreen in every 3 hours.

d. Try to ware full sleeves and ware cotton cloths as it will work as a sweat absorber.

e. When you take shower try to add few drops of Dettol liquid, it acts as anti-infectional and prevent itching.

f. Last but not the least drink atleast 3 litres of water everyday. Please keep your body hydrate always.

Winter is a season that we all love because of “No Chip Chip”,” No to sweat”,”No extreme heat” but have we think about that for this dry weather we are loosing our moisture, glow, hydration, nourishment.
After so many changes in my skin care routine finally I get to know that how to keep my skin glowing and as hydrated , nourishing and hydrating all the time.

I have a oily skin and the routine which I am going to share today is for this time of the year, as rest of the year except winter and in winter my skin becomes Sahara desert and very sensitive, dull, dry and flaky. So, today I am sharing my updated skin care routine and the products that I am using for taking care of my skin specially in winter , so let’s begin –

1. For cleansing purpose I use “Acnerex Facewash“. This is prescribed by my dermatologist. It is very mild, gentle and the most important that after using this I don’t feel dry like Sahara desert. My skin feels softer and the green and white granules will helps to exfoliate my skin gently. It cost me ₹250 approximately because I lost the box so the exact figure I don’t remember currently.

2. For winter I don’t use any toner because I feel like toner absorbs the oil and moisture from skin and make it even more dryer. So I directly jump into moisturizer. For moisturizing my face I use 2 moisturizer –
a. Simple – it is a lightweight water based moisturizer so I use this in day time underneath my makeup for less oil production. It costs ₹380 for 150ml of product.

b. Cetaphil– it is very hydrating and very nourishing and a heavy moisturizer so I use this in night time . I just take a good amount of it and just pat on my skin and in morning my skin feels like glowy and super hydrated. It costs ₹683 for 250ml which is a lot of product for one winter season.

3. If I have to step outside or I am staying in home no matter what I will apply sunscreen. Because it helps my skin from burning. So as a sunscreen I use the “Neutrogena UltraSheer sunblock with SPF 50+“. Which cost 88ml for ₹549.

4. For extra hydration twice in a week I use sheet masks. They are my ultimate survivor for me in winter time. They are deeply nourishing, full of serums, soothing, relaxing, my words are less for those masks.

5. And the end of the day for makeup removing I use the Bioderma Sensibio H20. I use this not only for winter but rest of the days in the year I use this. For makeup removing it works like God. It costs me ₹780 as I bought it from nykaa in a sell but the original price is ₹990 for 250ml of product and the best part of this is you can choose the quantity according to your budget and need.

Some important tips , specially for winter –
1. Drink atleast 2-3 literes of water every day. We are thinking that we are not sweating so the water consumption is not needed so much but in this dry weather the water consumption is more needed than the other season.
2. Follow a good and proper diet with good oils like Omega 3, some plant based oils.
3. Say NO to Scrubbing. Scrubbing can be very hursh for skin. That’s why I use this Facewash with small granules which are mild and good for sensetive skin.
4. Don’t use moisturizer without Washin face because it is feeling dry. Always use a Facewash first to clean the skin surface then use moisturizer.
5. Choose the moisturizer according to the skin type. As I am a oily skin but in winter it become sensetive and dry so I use moisturizer which doesn’t have alcohol property in it.

For a healthy skin I follow a fixed routine of cleansing – toning – moisturizing but for deep cleaning we need to put some extra effort and if we can do this using only one product then it will be budget friendly and we can do it in home. So, here is the product ‘ The Body Shop 3 in 1 wash-scrub-mask ‘. Price is Rs. 1195. We can get it from online (Nykaa, Amazon, The Body Shop website) as well as offline ( The Body Shop store).

Core ingredients of these product are:

Tea Tree – good for oily Acne-prone skin

Penthinol – acts as a moisturizing agent

Menthol – acts as a cooling agent.

So, we can use it in 3 ways –

1. Wash:

Take a small amount and apply on the face in circular motion very gently until the mud foams then rinse it off. It cn be use daily.

2. Scrub:

Massage gently onto damp skin in circular motion focus on T-zone. Add more water until the mud foams, scrub it around 2-3 minutes. Can be used 2-3 times per week.

3. Mask:

Add a thin layer of this product on dry face by avoiding the eye and lip area. Leve it for 7-10 minutes or until it gets dry. Then rinse it off. Can be applied 1-2 times in a week.

I am using it for around 1 year and til the time I have found some pros and cons of this product.

Pros:

1. Good for oily , Acne-prone skin

2. 3 in 1 product. Very handy.

3. Absorbs oil very quickly.

4. Scrubbing granules are very tiny. So, it won’t hart.

5. Less time consuming.

Cons:

1. Dry skin people can’t use this.

2. After the all 3 steps it will make skin dry so, for that you need to apply moisturizer immediately.
